Roberto Voerzio founded his winery at La Morra in 1986 and within a few years became one of the most rigorous producers in the Langhe, known for very low yields and almost obsessive care in the vineyard. It is a philosophy he applies not only to his celebrated Barolos but also to Barbera.

Il Cerreto is a vineyard near La Morra, with east and west exposures, treated as a true cru: few grapes per vine, harvest at full ripeness and vinification designed to preserve the grape's natural acidity.

2021, a balanced vintage of great freshness in the Langhe, produced a concentrated yet lively Barbera: dark fruit, black cherry, spice, soft tannins and vibrant acidity that carries the finish. With pasta in meat sauce, grilled meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.
