Giulio Ferrari is the flagship cuvée of the Trentino house, dedicated to its founder Giulio Ferrari, pioneer of the traditional method in Trentino in the early twentieth century. For decades it has been Italy's reference sparkling wine for complexity and longevity. This bottle comes in its gift box.

It is a Blanc de Blancs made solely from Chardonnay grown in the Lunelli family's mountain vineyards, left to rest on the lees for around a decade before disgorgement. Such a long ageing turns the fruit into notes of pastry, nuts and toast, while keeping intact the freshness given by altitude.

Golden yellow with a very fine perlage; on the nose ripe yellow fruit, candied citrus, honey, butter and toasty notes; the palate is creamy, deep and driven by still-lively acidity, with a very long finish. With shellfish, risottos, fine fish and medium-aged cheeses; an impressive gift for any sparkling wine lover.
