Legendary wine, among the most famous and award-winning Italian reds, San Leonardo represents the magical result of a tradition that is defined throughout the world as the "Bordeaux cut". A symbiosis of dream and tradition, it is a wine capable of conveying the character and charm of the identity of the territory in which it is born in a unique way.
Its journey began in the early 1980s and since then it has only ever been produced in those years considered exceptional, for this reason thousandths such as 1984, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002 have been skipped.
A powerful and elegant red in which the colours, the aromas, the flavors of cabernet sauvignon, carmenére and merlot, left to mature for 18/24 months in small oak barrels, blend harmoniously creating a unique, intense wine with great depth of taste.
