Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from the La Serra cru in the municipality of La Morra, this Barolo DOCG represents one of the noblest expressions of the Piedmont terroir. The 1989 vintage is considered historic for the area, with favorable climate conditions that allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and completely, giving the wine a deep structure and extraordinary aging potential. The Marcarini winery, operating for six generations, is renowned for its traditional approach and respect for the terroir.
