Il Tocco 2015 Toscana IGT - Colle Bereto

Produced in just 4,000 bottles at the Colle Bereto estate in Radda in Chianti, this wine represents one of the winery's most personal and bold expressions. Originally conceived as a pure Sangiovese in 1983, Il Tocco has evolved its profile toward a dominant Merlot, while maintaining its Tuscan soul thanks to the balanced presence of Sangiovese. The 2015 vintage, characterized by excellent phenolic ripeness, has yielded a deep, harmonious, and long-lived wine.

It is an intense purple red in color. On the nose, it releases notes of fresh cherry, red flowers, tobacco, and sweet spices, with nuances of leather and black pepper. On the palate it is balanced, with lively acidity and smooth tannins, finishing on velvety notes of berries and licorice.
