Kurni 2021 Marche IGT by Oasi degli Angeli is a single-varietal Montepulciano of extraordinary intensity and refinement, considered one of Italy's most iconic and award-winning reds.

Produced in Cupra Marittima, along the Riviera delle Palme, this wine comes from vineyards cultivated using artisanal and sustainable methods, on mineral-rich soils and well exposed to the sea breeze. The 100% Montepulciano grapes are harvested by hand, fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and then aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, without filtration or fining.

The 2021 Kurni displays a deep, dark purple color. The nose is complex and layered, with notes of cassis, wild berries, cigar box, smoke, dark chocolate, tobacco, and leather. On the palate, it is creamy, powerful, yet elegant, with velvety tannins and impressive length. The alcohol content is 14.5% vol.

This vintage received 98 Falstaff points, confirming itself as a meditation and collectible wine, capable of evolving magnificently over time.
