Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata 2020 – Trediberri

Trediberri is the Oberto family's winery in La Morra, led by Nicola Oberto and one of the most interesting names of the new Langhe generation. Rocche dell'Annunziata is the heart of the estate: one of the most celebrated crus of La Morra, renowned for perfumed, elegant and very refined Barolos.

The grapes come from family parcels with vines planted in 1955, 1961 and 1999. Fermentation takes place in concrete, with total skin contact of about four weeks, then the wine ages for around 20 months in large oak casks of 25 and 52 hectolitres: a classic style, with no barriques.

2020 was a sunny yet balanced vintage that gave harmonious Barolos, approachable even in their youth. In the glass, rose, red fruit, sweet spice and silky tannins, with the delicate texture typical of the Rocche. Lovely now and able to evolve; with tajarin, vitello tonnato, red meats and aged cheeses.
