Bartolo Mascarello needs no introduction in the Langhe: a historic estate in the village of Barolo, now run by Maria Teresa Mascarello, and a symbol of uncompromising traditional winemaking. Fermentation in concrete, long macerations, large oak casks and no barriques.
This vertical brings together five consecutive vintages of their Langhe Nebbiolo: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. It is the "small" wine of the house, but only the price is small: it comes from the same hands and philosophy as the Barolo, and is just as hard to find.
Opening them side by side lets you taste how Nebbiolo changes from one season to the next: fresher and tauter, warmer and more generous. A rare tasting, perfect for enthusiasts and collectors.
