Cuvée Voyage Metodo Classico Brut – Frescobaldi

Cuvée Voyage is the traditional-method sparkling wine of Marchesi Frescobaldi, one of the historic families of Tuscan wine. The name recalls a journey: that of the young Leonia who, according to family history, returned from France to the Florentine palazzo bringing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines with her.

It is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, refermented in bottle and matured for about 24 months on the lees before disgorgement. The Brut dosage makes it versatile and approachable.

Bright straw yellow, with a fine, persistent mousse and aromas of white fruit, flowers and citrus with a light touch of bread crust. The palate is fresh and linear, with lively acidity. Perfect as an aperitif, with fried food, raw fish and starters; a good-value Tuscan sparkler that also makes a fine gift.
