Luce 25esimo Ann. 2017 (astucciata) Toscana IGT - Tenuta Luce - Frescobaldi

Produced in Montalcino, a fertile and sun-drenched terroir, this wine comes from vineyards planted on well-exposed, marly soils, with an ideal microclimate for the slow and complete ripening of the grapes. The warm and dry 2017 vintage favored concentration and intensity. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with extended maceration, followed by 24 months of aging in French oak barriques and further bottle aging. The result is a deep ruby red, with notes of black fruits, sweet spices, tobacco, chocolate, and graphite. On the palate, it is structured and velvety, with ripe tannins and a long, harmonious finish. The alcohol content is 14.5% vol, and the wine received 95 points from James Suckling and 94 from Wine Advocate, confirming it as a collectible and long-aging label.
